'Ursprache / Kreuzweg' is Extreme Sound Detective’s eighth release.

The dichotomy is the rope and the knots that link the conceptual elements of this album. More than usual, this soundscape proposes questions based on intuitions to ignite cogitation.

What were the prehistoric languages used to communicate with the invisible realm beyond the physical needs in 4.000 B.C, 10.000 B.C. or even sooner?
Was the spirituality more chthonic before the erection of the first megaliths?

The paths were secrets with nature hiding them as soon as they were traveled.
The visited places to rest were more mineral, vastly bound to the soil. Only a very limited amount of chosen beings was able to read the signs, guide the nomadic populations between vast mystical plains and esoteric abysses.

What were the gestures, the sounds, the artifacts they used to worship these ancient forces and deities, to reach another level of consciousness, an enlightened plane of communication?

At the opposite side of this schismatic album, there is an interrogation about the spirituality of the present time. New paradigms are potentially available everywhere and every minute since mutations of faith are bloomed by all kinds of revolutions.

'Notre-Dame-des-Fleurs' by Jean Genet, 'Voyage au bout de la nuit' by Louis-Ferdinand Céline, 'Blood Meridian' by Cormac McCarthy, 'American Psycho' by Bret Easton Ellis, 'Extension du domaine de la lutte' by Michel Houellebecq, among others, are samples of contemporary interrogations and ersatz of convictions in extant literature.

Undoubtfully, this memento proposes no remedy, only more doubts...
