'De La Prétérition Des Rites Funéraires Tyranniques' is Extreme Sound Detective’s fourth release, and collaboration with Hark Bones.

Coil was able to destroy angels with its music. Current 93 and Nurse With Wound are able to walk awake alongside the thunder. Death In June, Sol Invictus, and Sixth Comm are able to communicate with Europa’s might. 'De La Prétérition Des Rites Funéraires Tyranniques' propose to create new realm expending away from the psychological and physical veils that darken the sight of humanity.

Teresa of Ávila stated in her book 'El Castillo Interior' that our soul embraces an endless space containing an infinite number of rooms. And with the help of specific practice and a proper journey into our own soul, we can approach the knowledge of god that resides at the center of our innermost vastness. In his sermons, Meister Eckhart explains that our soul is an inner divine scrap. This particular shred of our spiritual self is the vessel that will lead us to the essence of god. This principle nests beyond our sphere of natural existence. The lord is simultaneously one and all. And time & space that segregates the creation is his enemies, like ours.

Based on these mystical intuitions, this investigation proposes to create an experimental spell that will generate an absolutely new dimension that will expand free of the tyranny of the confining domains of death, madness, passion, dream and, of course, time & space.

On one side, the works of six great novelists and essayists are used as tools to imagine this world above all others. Each one of these writers is able to transgress the limits of the social laws, to disobey the old paradigms, to open the views of their contemporaries and to create living cosmos including multiple layers of references and infinite entries.

On the other side, the commitments of six infamous occult philosophers are used as tools to concrete this creation beyond all others. Each one of these conjurers is able to cast spells of birth and destruction, to summon powers beyond the imagination of their pairs, to conquer the hermetical Aether, to raise the fauna and flora of mythical landscapes.

The resulting six paths conclude the researches, experiments and the foundations of this new territory, and at the same time, reveal the rise, the existence and finally the fall of this transcendent empire born from the determination and the vitality of one’s inner ego.
